Listen to your deeper heart

Yes, you actually do know your next move to take.

One of the biggest energy leaks

Is indecision

And confusion.

Sometimes it can feel so hard to know what we want.

Like our different selves are pulling us in every direction.

Turning us into some kind of scarecrow creature - arms pointing one way, legs another, head and heart yet another.

I have noticed though.

In myself.

When I am indecisive.

It is usually because I am afraid.

I don’t want to let go of something that may have some (or a lot!) of good.

Because I secretly know I desire something even better.

So the tug of war isn’t really between all these different parts.

It’s between my heart and my deeper heart.

My heart that might love something or someone or an idea so much.

And my deeper heart that knows

This isn’t right.

So then.

There is pain.

Because my hearts are fighting.

But I have learned.

That my deeper heart is always right.

And the pain of not listening to my deeper heart

Is so much deeper than the pain of letting go of what I love and want now.

The pain of not listening to my deep heart.

Is the pain of not choosing myself fully.

Is the pain of staying in places - relationships, businesses, cities - that don’t truly nourish me in the way I know I need.

It would be a slow death mixed with sugar.

But I want a long life with lots of peaches.

So I always listen to my deep heart.

And while the pain of what I have lost is sometimes deep.

I have chosen myself, and I feel peace.

I know I can trust myself.

And I trust that every time I choose myself fully, I open the door for what I truly desire.

If you feel confused or indecisive.

Take a moment to check in with your deep heart.

The part of you that knows your truth.

And.

Even if it is so scary.

Even if it feels like you will lose something or someone you cherish.

Trust yourself.

Choose yourself.
